GRAND PRIZE DRAW - 20-01-08

The Westie Rescue Scheme 2008 Grand Prize Draw will take place at our AGM on Saturday 26th April 2008. Tickets are now on sale and selling fast. There are several cash prizes, all of which have been donated to the scheme. Our top Prize is £600, with further cash prizes of £300 for 2nd, £100 for 3rd and £50 for 4th place. Tickets are just 20p each with a book costing £1. For tickets and further information on the Westie Rescue Scheme 2008 Grand Prize Draw please call the event organiser Mags Evans on 0161 794 8521. Please make sure you enter in good time to ensure your ticket stubs are received into us before the draw takes place. We cannot be held responsible for ticket delays caused by Royal Mail. As a guide, we suggest the last date of posting return stubbs should be Friday 15th April. The Westie Rescue Scheme now have some spanky new collection tins which we are now is the process of distributing to all of our supporters around the country who regularly collect money for the charity via collection boxes. The new tins are a vibrant orange in colour and feature the new enhanced Westie Rescue logo along with our standard contact information. It really is amazing just how much a sited collection tin can contribute to the scheme over a year. We are hoping to site as many as possible over the coming months, so please get in contact with the treasurer on 0870 330 4452 if you think you can help us to site one in your business, or know a vet where one could be placed or perhaps you may require one to help you with any fundraising initiatives you may be planning to hold! |
CHANGES TO NEWSLETTER PUBLISH DATES - 19.01.07
We have changed the publish dates for the Westie Rescue Scheme newsletter. They will now be despatched in MARCH, JULY and NOVEMBER to all our paid up friends. This will help the scheme maximise the contribution our members can make to our cause. The March edition will allow us to publish the newsletter in good time for our AGM in April. The July edition will help us publicise the Summer Fayre nearer the date in August. The November newsletter will help us to issue gift and seasonal card/giftwrap leaflets for our online store in good time for our friends to buy them.
