Westie Rescue Scheme Fayre.

THE WRS SUMMER FAYRE 2008.

This year's Westie Rescue Scheme Summer Fayre will be held on the Saturday 9th August 2008. The venue has been confirmed as Fradley Village Hall, Hay End Lane, Fradley, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS13 8NL. This new venue is approximately 15 minutes East of the previous venue at Hatherton in Cannock. The Summer Fayre itself will open at 12noon with the fun dog show commencing at 1.30pm.

As well as the usual Fun Dog Show, we also have many other attractions, raffles and stalls, food, tombola, refreshments, bric-a-brac, bbq and the Westie Rescue Shop packed full of NEW Westie merchandise for 2008 season. We also have a fantastic WRS balloon race. The new venue has much better hall facilities, a fully equipped catering kitchen and above all, much more parking! We are currently in the process of arranging this years fun dog show judge and more information on this will be posted shortly.

Sponsorship of each class costs just £20.00 which covers the costs of rosettes & prizes.

Best In Show & Reserve Best In Show will be judged on a points basis and is ONLY open to Rescued Westies.

Trophies will be awarded as follows: BIS will receive the Barbara Graham Memorial Trophy, BIS will also receive an officially engraved hand crafted and polished heritage silver plated picture frame measuring 10" x 8" approx. RBIS will also receive a trophy. Golden Oldie will receive the Billy Memorial Trophy. Certificates are awarded to BIS, RBIS, Golden Oldie & People's Choice. Rosettes & Prizes are awarded in each class to 6th place. No Bitches in season. All dogs entering the Fun Dog Show must have their inoculations up-to-date.
